A morning by the pool overlooking the lake, before the wedding starts, is an amazing way to gather friends and family and celebrate in the heart of Portugal. This is exactly what Ran and Kevin chose to do.
Though the sun was shy, it didn't prevent the day from being full of joy. Best friends since the age of 10, their union felt almost inevitable. After several years of long-distance dating, bringing friends and family together in Portugal to celebrate their special day was the perfect idea for their wedding.
Elegant and sophisticated with a touch of romance, the celebrations began with a tea ceremony, an oriental tradition rich in history. The wedding ceremony itself took place on a wooden pier, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, and the hotel's luxurious villas, with the lake and the Alentejo plains as the backdrop. It was the perfect atmosphere for the occasion.
Since the weather didn't provide a sunny day, the reception was held in the hotel's restaurant, MAPA. In a room illuminated by the unique light of Alentejo, even on overcast days, the tables were set under an impressive array of lights hanging from the ceiling. This elegant setting was ideal for a meal prepared by the hotel's chef, featuring the finest ingredients from local producers paired with amazing wines bearing the L'AND label.
The day concluded in the best possible way, with plenty of champagne and good music.
